e-CLASS is a Web-based Learning Management System (LMS) based on Moodle. The app is hosted by NISLAB and is available to all staff and students of the Department of Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics.
Apart from common functionalities such as uploading and sharing course material, e-CLASS also facilitates many other aspects of the educational process such as:
- Assignment upload and grading (extending the core Moodle plug-in)
- Group creation and group-specific assignments
- Attendance tracking
- Virtual classroom assistance for e-Learning (Zoom)
- Full smartphone support and push notifications via the Moodle app
