The BigO Image Annotation tool, developed by NISLAB, is a self-hosted Web application that was purpose-built for the BigO Project (EU H2020) . It allows for local file analysis via a text-based image list and comes with file anonymization (and de-anonymization) scripts and a pre-loaded image annotation ontology. The application’s user interface is designed to minimize errors and streamline the image annotation process, with features such as keyboard navigation, quick actions (auto-filling common annotation properties) and task save/load. The user interface is accessible via any web browser and is designed for both mobile phones/tablets as well as PCs.
The tool is currently used in-house to process the vast amount of data collected by the BigO project.
