Anna Kokkinopoulou is a Registered Clinical Nutritionist – Dietitian, a PhD student in the Department of Medicine at the University of Crete and an Academic (Teaching) Fellow in the Department of Nutritional Sciences & Dietetics at the International Hellenic University (IHU).
She is a Research Assistant in the Department of Nutritional Sciences & Dietetics at IHU (2011-today), where she has an active role in the development of behavioral research protocols, data collection and analysis processes for overweight and obesity. She has participated in EU and national funded programs in the fields of nutrition and obesity (e.g. JANPA, COSI, BigO, PROTEIN, FastBio, Nutri-Face, EYZHN) where she has studied the costs of childhood obesity, personalized nutrition & physical activity monitoring using innovative technologies, and teenage nutrition intervention programs through Social Media.
